Research
Below are links to the digital archival deposits of Teotepec Chatino and other Chatino languages. And, a list of some of my presentations and invited talks.
Digital Archival Collections

The Archive of the Indigenous Languages of Latin America (AILLA) - The University of Texas at Austin

Endangered Language Archive (ELAR) - School of Oriental and Asian (SOAS) - The University of Lodon
These archival deposits are from the research conducted as part of the IGS grant 0098 awarded to me by the ELDP from the School of Oriental and Asian Studies at the University of London. The AILLA deposit is fully curated and available in both Spanish and English interfaces. The ELAR deposit is still under construction and will be available when all the resources are uploaded.
Both of these collections are also part of a larger collection made by the Chatino Langauge Documentation Project (CLDP) at the University of Texas at Austin. These archives also contain many other indigenous langauge resources.

"It would be naïve to imagine that any analysis of experience is dependent on pattern expressed in language. Any concept, whether or not it forms part of the system of grammatical categories, can be conveyed in any language. If a notion is lacking in a given series, it implies a different configuration and not a lack of expressive power."
Edward Sapir "American Indian Grammatical Categories", edited by Morris Swadesh in Word, 2 (1946)
